The application with attachments can be sent electronically and securely via Digipost to Husbanken organization no. 942 114 184. Alternatively, the application can be sent by ordinary post. Documents containing personally sensitive information, such as national identification numbers, must not be sent by e-mail.
When the application has been processed, Husbanken sends the result of the application processing electronically or by ordinary post to the loan applicant.
The loan guarantee to the buyer can be used for the purchase of housing in this project which has been approved for financing at the Housing Bank. The buyer has a deadline of three months to enter into a purchase contract and the loan must normally be sought to be paid within two years, otherwise the loan commitment expires.

The municipality guarantees the repurchase value of the home. This means that the guarantee secures 85% of the purchase price in case of resale after year 3. The guarantee will apply from three years after the approved use permit from the municipality and even 10 years after the use permit has been granted. The guarantee sum is adjusted annually with price growth in the national housing market.
